Brian David Pence, 56, Amboy, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 1, 2019, at Howard Community Hospital.

Born in Marion on December 3, 1962, Brian was the son of David and Judy (Henderson) Pence. He graduated from Oak Hill High School and was employed for over 20 years at Chrysler in Kokomo. He married his valentine, Krista Patton, on February 14, 1998, and they have two children, Autumn and Noah David.
Brian was a man after God’s own heart. He loved his wife and children well. He was passionate about helping others with the resources that God gave them so they could have a deeper walk with Christ. He was a member of Converse Church of Christ, where he was the coordinator of Financial Peace University seminars and actively involved in Samaritan Ministries and a Kids Hope mentor.
In his leisure time, Brian loved fishing, watching fishing shows, sleeping, and sweets (especially ice cream). He enjoyed eating Dana’s chicken and noodles, as well as KFC. He also enjoyed grilling and was known as the “Grill Master”.

His wife and children loved him very much, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Krista, Amboy; daughter, Autumn Pence; son, Noah David Pence; parents, David (Judy) Pence, Swayzee; sister, Karen Pence, Swayzee; sisters-in-law: Marikay (Ray) Boylan, Marion; Leah (Roger) Meisner, Alexandria; Karen (Joe) Spahr, Muncie; mother-in-law, Margo Patton, Anderson; several nieces and nephews; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive visitors from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2019, at Converse Church of Christ, 301 E. Wabash St., Converse, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Brian’s life will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor John Clark officiating. Burial will take place at Converse Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, c/o Brian Pence Children’s Fund. Donations may also be directed to Samaritan Ministries and Kids Hope, c/o Converse Church of Christ.
