Sister Mary Ellen Plummer died at the Dominican Life Center in Adrian, Michigan. She was 72 years of age and in the 54th year of her religious profession. She was born to Robert and Mary Jo (Pease) Plummer. She graduated from St. Ambrose High School in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and received a bachelor’s degree in French from Siena Heights College (University) in Adrian and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Preaching from Aquinas Institute of Theology in St Louis, Missouri.
Sister Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by two brothers: John and William ; and four sisters, Elizabeth, Margaret, Catherine, and Virginia.
