Danny Dale Dunn, 71, husband of Ruth Baker Dunn, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center – ER. Born February 6, 1948 in Louisville, KY, Danny was the son of the late Ruben and Edna Wheeler Dunn.
A retired Staff Sergeant with U.S. Army, Danny served his country during the Vietnam War. He attended the Family Worship Center in Lawrenceburg. Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his grandson, listening to books on tape, volunteering and donating his time. "Danny had a heart as big as his body."
Along with his wife, Danny is survived by three children, Edward Schrieber and his wife Paulette of Frankfort, Ruth Ann Schrieber Kirby and her husband Bobby of Mt. Vernon, and April Marrion and husband Steve of Taswell, IN; two grandchildren, Brittany Lynn Ford of Berea and Nicholas Edward Schrieber of Lawrenceburg; and his sister, Frances Ann Suber and husband Joe of Taswell, TN.
A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4th from 6 – 7:30 PM followed by the service at 7:30 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Pastor Tony Andrade will officiate the service.
Burial with full military honors will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 5, 2019 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY.
