Mr. Beavers passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at his residence. He was born February 19, 1935, in Sumter County to James Giles Beavers and Celeste Bell Beavers. He was a retired millwright for Gulf States Papermill. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Survivors include his wife June Beavers of Cuba; sons Mark Beavers (Jan) of Quitman, MS; Blake Beavers (Lillian) of Tuscaloosa; and Greg Beavers of Cuba; grandchildren Johnathon Beavers, Annabelle Beavers, and Mary Evelyn Beavers; sisters Retha Thornton of Cuba; Elaine Truelove of Prattville; and brother Glenn Beavers of Columbus, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers: Frank Shannon, Cecil Harrell, Dal Phillips, Robert Sheffield, Glenn Miller.
