Craig Steven Francis Edwards, born in Memphis TN on September 5, 1959, died at his home on February 17, 2012.

He was son the son of Mildred Simpson Edwards and LZ Edwards and the brother of James Edwards, all of whom preceded him in death.

He graduated as valedictorian of the class of 1977 from Tech High School in Memphis, and then went to work for South Central Bell as a Customer Service agent until 1991.

During this time, he performed as a clown and participated in many charitable events on behalf of South Central Bell.

He attended Memphis State University and graduated with Honors from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center with a degree in Occupational Therapy in 1995.

He then worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Memphis for twelve years as an Occupational Therapist.

He was a person who was deeply committed to his profession and friends, giving back much to his community.

He served as president of Tennessee Occupational Therapy Association and as president of Integrity Memphis.

He was an active member of the Episcopal Church. His faith was a deep and guiding part of his life.

He spent two years as a postulate at St. Gregory's Episcopal Abby in Three Rivers, MI.

He will be missed by his many friends, co-workers, and patients.

Remembrances in his name may be made to Holy Cross Episcopal Church in West Memphis or Calvary Episcopal Church in Memphis.
