She retired as a secretary for North American Rockwell. Helen was a Genoa Township Trustee for 20 years, member of Genoa Baptist Church, Ladies Auxiliary, Young Budd Post 171, Genoa Township Seniors and Top of Hill Seniors. She is preceded in death by her husband William, son Steven, parents Henry and Cora Cook; brothers, Eugene and Arius Cook. She leaves her son, Ron (Leann) Barber; daughter-in-law, Linda Barber; and grandchildren, Vicki, (Dan) Boyd, Chris (Bill) Beatty, Danielle (James) Wunder, and Tara (Donald) Faller.
