Carolyn Parker CARTWRIGHT, age 60, died peacefully at Sentara Norfolk on January 15, 2016. She was born September 22, 1955 in Jarvisburg N.C. She is survived by her mother, Shelby Seymour AYDLETT; loving husband of 34 years, Gerald CARTWRIGHT; a very close Aunt, Vera GALLOP; with a host of cousins, friends and family. She was preceded in death by her father Elvin L PARKER. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Powells Point Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Glenn McCRANIE and Wayne TWIFORD officiating. A visitation will be held Monday January 18, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Twiford Memorial Chapel.
