Mr. Larry Albert McKinney, age 66 of 213 S. Small Street, Pittsboro, NC passed on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at his residence.
Larry was born in Chatham Hospital on November 6, 1952 to Albert and Ella McKinney. Larry was the youngest of 8 siblings. He departed life here on earth on Sunday March 31, 2019.
Larry (Tack) attended Horton High. Tack was a jack of all trades and always a hard working. Over the years he learned different skills that would use all through his life. He was a heavy equipment operator, machinists, and carpenter. He was employed by Bubba Flooring for over 30 years.
He got the nickname Tack from when he was younger he was always dressed sharp as a Tack!!
Larry is preceded in death by: Albert McKinney (father) Ella McKinney (mother) Mary Ella McKinney (sister) Cleotha McKinney (brother) Walter McKinney (brother).
He leaves mourn his memory a son, Travis Wofford (Lashonda) of Hope Mills NC; two grandchildren; one great grandson; five sisters: Pauline Brooks, Aggie M. Burgess, Juanita McKinney, Laura M. Miller, Linda J. McKinney all of Pittsboro, NC; one aunt Mary Deese of Lexington, NC; a special niece Beverly McKinney; a god daughter Allena Watson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
