John Henry Drew, 95, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather left this life on April 1, 2019. John was born August 28, 1923, in Harrah, OK to John M. and Rosa Franas (Cichoki) Drew.

He married Virginia Smith on Feb. 9, 1950 in Harrah. John served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He worked as a welder for T.A.F.B. until his retirement in 1974, he then drove a Harrah school bus for 15 years. John and Virginia were long-time members of St. Teresa's Catholic Church. John helped build the Parish Hall and School in 1956. He was also very proud to serve as an usher during mass. He enjoyed farming, raising his cattle, gardening, selling junk and loved to visit with people. He also loved to dance.

The family would especially like to thank John's caregiver Christina Hensley, as well as Nurse Jessie with Phoenix Home Health, for all the love and compassion they showed to him.

John was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include spouse Virginia Drew of the home; son David Drew and wife Linda of Harrah, OK; daughter Judy Martin and husband Sammy of Harrah, OK and daughter Penny Beam and husband Allen of Harrah, OK, one sister Elizabeth Maggott of Del City, OK; 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

A Rosary and wake services were held April 4 at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Harrah, OK, the Mass Of Christian Arrangements are under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
