Harold Ray Brown, 73, of Blossom, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at his home while surrounded by his family. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 9th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown & Rev. Henry Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Honor Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Brown, the son of William H. “Doc” Brown & Ethel Herrington Brown, was born June 4, 1944, in Clarksville. He attended Clarksville Schools. He and his son, Steven, owned and operated B & B Overhead Door for thirty-one years. Harold enjoyed fishing, camping and travel. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, W. H. Brown, and two sisters, Iva Mae Ross and Joyce Bright. Survivors include wife, Linda Bettis Brown, whom he married in 1967, building fifty years of family and memories, two children, Steven Brown & wife Angie of Blossom and Kim Brown of Blossom, siblings; James Brown & wife Elizabeth of Clarksville, Evelyn Davidson of Deport, Bobby Brown of Clarksville and Donnie Brown of Bagwell, two brothers-in-law, Phil Bettis of Blossom and Ronnie Bettis of Lampe, MO along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends. Casket bearers will be: Jesse Hausler, Dalton Hausler, James Proctor, Richard Burchinal, Brett Berry and Brandon Bettis.
