Stanley Clarence Taylor, 86, of Moweaqua, passed away 11:49 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2019 in St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur.
Mr. Taylor was born March 24, 1933 in Lovington, the son of Clarence and Velva King Taylor. Stanley was a farmer. He loved farming, his trees and ponds and being outdoors. Stanley and Charlotte loved to travel together. Stanley was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He married Darlene Marshall and they had three children. He then married Charlotte Lamarr on July 8, 1993 at London, Kentucky and she survives.
Also surviving are his children, Rebecca Frazier of Decatur, Andy Taylor of Moweaqua and Ted (Collette) Taylor of Moweaqua; grandchildren, Clarie Taylor of Tennessee, Kyle Taylor and Charles Taylor, both of Moweaqua; one great-grandchild; brother, Darrel (Donna) Taylor and Joyce (Donald) Belcher, both of Lovington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife in 2016 and two brothers.
