Gail Hildreth White, 65 of Westminster MD left us to enter Heaven on April 23, 2016. She was born August 4, 1950 in Salisbury MD. She was the daughter of the late Havens Gleason (Jim) Hildreth, Jr. and the late Mattie Lee Rayne Hildreth. She graduated from Pittsville High School in 1968 and the University of Maryland in 1976. She was a special education teacher in Carroll County Schools until she retired in 2008. She attended Uniontown United Methodist Church where she was in the choir. One of her greatest joys was traveling, especially to Disney World and Aruba with her family. Gail was fiercely devoted to her family, her children and grandchildren.She loved camping and was quite a 'Handy Granny', never giving up on the challenge of fixing something that others thought was unfixable. Gail is survived by her husband, Dave White, daughter Mattie Wilson (Eric), daughter Sarah Miller (Jason), daughter Melinda Fadden (Patrick) and son Cameron White (Mary), sister Sherry Hildreth and brother Brian Hildreth (Cindi) and several nieces, nephews and many cousins including two who were like sisters, Patti McDonnell and Evelyn Cumm. She is also survived by the loves of her life her grandchildren, Anabelle, Violet and Bonnie Wilson, Caleb, Hannah and Emma Miller and Samuel Fadden and a baby to be Wilson due in May. There were many others that were like family to Gail. To meet her was to love her and she truly let everyone into her heart where they became a part of her. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday 4/30/2016 at the Holloway Funeral Home with visitation an hour before. For those who cannot attend the service, there will be a webcast at www.hollowayfh.com. Pastor Darrell Davis will officiate. Burial will be held at Dennis Cemetery in Willards, MD. Memorial donations may be made to Uniontown United Methodist Church, 3405 Uniontown Rd., Westminster, MD 21158.
