WAPAKONETA--Mossie Thompson, 87, Route 1, Box 42, died following a lengthy illness at 7:20p.m. Sunday, May 31, 1992, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 9, 1905, in Pineville, KY., to John Crowe and Sarah Katherine Miracle. On Septmeber 17, 1938, she married Willia Thompson, who died August 27, 1972.
She is survivied by six daughter, Mary Martha Bowman, Cincinnat; Jean Schmidt, Troy; Mrs. Paul H. (Dorothy) jones, Texas; Virginia Franks, New Knoxville; Mrs. Dick (Willine) Schwarack, St.Marys; Mrs. Sam (Kathy) Kinstle, Wapakoneta; four sons, Claude, Pineville, KY; Dan, Address unknown; Kenneth, Perryville, KY; Cliff, St.Marys; 42 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; a brother Clarence Miracle, Michigan; and two sisters, Mandy Slusher and Clara Luckadoo, both of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by four sons, Gillis, Berchel, George and Hershel; three daughters, Mandy, Wanda Fay, Dewey, Ernest and Arthur and four sisters, Lou, Laura, Sarah Elizabeth and Rhoda.
Mrs. Thompson was a home-maker. She was a former longtime St.Marys resident and a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church, St.Marys.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church witht he Rev. Gene McBride officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Long & Folk Funeral Home in St.Marys.
