She graduated from Cleveland High School in Cleveland, Texas in 1965.
She married Jay Louie Taylor on March 12, 1966. She was a resident of Temple, Texas. She enjoyed the life-long hobby of Genealogy and Scrapbooking. She enjoyed and cherished the friendships she made with those who shared the passions of these hobbies throughout her life.
She is survived by her husband Jay Louie Taylor of 53 years (Temple, Texas), a son Jerry Glynn Taylor and daughter-in-law Farah Taylor (both of Denver, Colorado), a brother David Evans and sister-in-law Marion Evans (both of Salado, Texas).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Snub and Eva Jewel Cobb Evans, her Great-Grandparents David Ather Evans, Dora Ellen Price Evans and Jerry Green Cobb, Ella Alabama Cantrell Cobb. Lynda was a 4th Generation Native Texan.
