Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2019, 4-6 PM at Elkins East Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 6 PM in the chapel.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Blanche Thompson; siblings, Betty, Joann, Charles, Jack, Lavenia; grandson, Thomas Brooks Stephens; nephews, Mitch and Tommy Thompson.
Ted is survived by his loving wife, Mary Thompson; daughters, Joni Cook (Jim), Anita Smith (Charlie Linebarger), and Julie Willis (Collin); grandchildren, Emily Katherine Stephens, Benjamin Smith, Audrey Smith Burnett (Justin), Angela Smith, Ashley Roberson (Nathan Williams), Grace Roberson, and Mary Addison Willis; great-grandchildren, Levi, Paislee, and Anniston Smith; brother, Johnny Thompson (Bobbie); sister-in-law, Vonda Thompson; several nieces and nephews.
