Thomas Doyle Morgan, 94, of Fordyce, Arkansas died March 30, 2019 at St. John’s Place in Fordyce, Arkansas. He was born June 9, 1924 to the late George and Annie Morgan of Kingsland, Arkansas. He was a retired timber cruiser for Georgia Pacific. He was inducted into the Army on May 22, 1944 and served during World War II. He was a rifleman, combat infantryman, and at other times served as a scout and BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle) gunman. He served with the Company G 10th Infantry. He proudly served his country in the Battle of Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe. He was a member of Smith Chapel Church of God. He was an avid outdoorsman during his younger years and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha; brothers Huey, Duey, Vester, and Wiley Morgan.

He is survived by a daughter, Diane Morgan of Clarksville, Arkansas; a granddaughter, Raylynn Marlow of Clarksville, Arkansas; three great grandchildren; a sister, Wanda Fae Mitchell of Conway, Arkansas; and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
