Born October 10, 1928, in Wellington, KS, he was the son of the late Alvin and Helen Cornwell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lee Hill Cornwell.
He retired from Trans World Airlines after 40 years of service, after retirement, Don and Virginia relocated to Belva, WV where they made their home for more than 20 years.
Don loved airplanes and motorcycles. He will be sadly missed by his in-laws, motorcycle and Airplanes buddies.
Funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday, April 3, at Bell Creek Baptist Church, with Pastor Shane Wynn officiating. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery, Belva.
Friends may gather with family one hour prior to the service at the church.
