Leslie was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Raymond Paul and Velma Marie (Fraley) Gregory on July 26, 1947.
He graduated from Norman High in 1966. Then married his high school sweetheart, Linda (Rhodes) Gregory. Shortly after graduation he joined the United States Air Force and then was deployed to Vietnam, where he stayed until the 1970s. When Leslie came back to the states he and Linda moved to California, they stayed there for over a year, then they moved Altus, Oklahoma, where they remained for almost a decade, before moving out to Maryland, then they settled down in Norman, Oklahoma in 1983. After the Air Force, Leslie worked in the cafeteria at Norman High, then he worked out at Joseph Hart Prison, then eventually he began doing home health with ALS patients. Leslie got sick and was then able to spend more time enjoying fishing, hunting, cooking and gambling at casinos.
Left to cherish his memory is Leslie’s wife, Linda Gregory, their children Michael Dwayne Gregory and Leslie Paul Gregory Jr. and his wife Earline Gregory. His Grandchildren: Stephanie Jones and her husband Jimmy Jones, Amanda Dill and her husband Guymen Dill, Samantha Atkinson and her husband Damian Atkison and Brittany Gregory. His great grandchildren: Lucy, Abby Jo, Kathlynn Vestle, Kayleigh Dill, Makayla Dill, Kilei Dill, Nevah. His sister Susan and her husband Jerry Ackerman. As well as many other beloved family and friends.
Leslie is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Leonard Gregory.
