Funeral services for Mr. Felton “Oil-Can” Perry, 71, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at the Christ Deliverance Temple at 403 Garner Street in Dublin.
Felton Perry was born on September 11,1947, to the late Mr. Edward Perry, Sr. and Annie Mae Perry in Dublin, Georgia. Mr. Perry was the third of ten children born to the Perry Clan. He attended Oconee High School and joined the Green Grove Baptist Church at an early age.
Mr. Perry was a highly-respected, and well-known, self-employed carpenter with hands of perfection. His laughter and personality were one-of-a-kind. He entered into eternal rest on March 28, 2019, after an extended illness.
Mr. Perry was preceded in death by three infant great-grandsons, two siblings, Ernest and Betty Perry, one brother-in-law, David Earl Smith, his grandparents, George and Parry Lee Smith of Soperton, Georgia, and Ernest and Clara Perry of Dublin, and by his six uncles and two aunts.
