Obituary of Sue Gray Parks

Sue Gray Parks, 94 years old, passed away on Thursday March 7, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Nell and Harry Gray, the wife of the late Captain Earl Cannon-USAF, Tyler Stewart Wilson, Jr and Homer T. Parks. She was also preceded in death by a son Tyler Stewart Wilson, III and a granddaughter, Katie Templeton.

Mrs. Parks is survived by her children Liza Coppinger, Harry (Pam) Wilson, Nancy Templeton, Laura (Gary) Wimberly, step son Charles (Jean) Parks and daughter-in-law, Karen Wilson. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Matthew and Hannah Coppinger, Cory and Ashley Wilson, Emily Webb, Maggie Shutters, Anna Landis, Tyler and Sam Wilson, Michael And Johnathan Wimberly and numerous great grandchildren.

She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church and attended Notre Dame School, Girls Preparatory School and Wesleyan College in Macon, GA.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 1:00 PM at St. Paul Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at the church prior to service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your charity of choice.
