Duel Cantrell, 82, retired employee of Greyhound and retired farmer, died of heart disease Monday at a daughter's home in Walls. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Antioch No. 2 Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Oaklawn Memorial Garden in Prentiss County. McMillan Funeral Home in Booneville has charge. Mr. Cantrell, the widower of Maurine Basden Cantrell, leaves two daughters, Edith Helton of Walls and Clytee Gan of Booneville; a son, Duel Cantrell Jr. of Rienzi ; a sister, Lillie Mae Ward of Booneville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
NOTE from Vicki Buress Roach, the Alcorn Cemetery book has him buried in Kossuth at the Alcorn African Cemetery.
