Candace Garland Smith, 65, of Roanoke passed away Friday, February 2, 2018. She is the beloved mother of Chase and Kelsey Smith; sister to Betty Garland Bain (Bob), Patsy Garland Bishop (Jim), and Tom Garland (Beth). She is also survived by special nephews; Marty Garland, Shannon Garland, and other extended family members, all of whom she loved dearly. Graveside services will be private. A memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, or charity of your choosing.
