Funeral services for Sybil Virginia Mixon were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2001 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, Winnfield, LA with Rev. Phil Patrick officiating. Burial followed in the Sanders Chapel, Calvin, LA under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mixon, age 75 of Dubberly, LA, died Sunday, October 14, 2001 in the Lagniappe Rehabilitation Hospital in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Minden, LA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Mixon Sr., one grandson, Lonnie Page and one granddaughter Lee Ann Mixon.
