Michael R. Larson, 77, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Froedtert South Kenosha Medical Center Campus. He was born on Jan. 27, 1942, to the later O. Myron and Sylvia (Gabriel) Larson in Black River Falls, Wis.

He was educated in Whitehall, Wis. On Aug. 27, 1960, he married Rita Hagen in Pigeon Falls, Wis. Michael was a meat cutter for L&M Meats for many years. Michael enjoyed horses, NASCAR, feeding and watching the birds and squirrels in his yard. He loved all sports in general and watching his grandchildren play all sports.

Michael is survived by his wife Rita, his children Todd (Terrie) Larson of Caledonia, Tony (Tracy) Larson of Pleasant Prairie and Tracey (Rick) Callow of Phillips, Wis., his grandchildren Caitlin (Kevin) Catarozoli, Carly (Ian Zelko) Larson, Tara (Brett Christopher) Larson, Tanner Larson, R.J. Callow, Randy (Alexie Canik) Callow and Rachel Callow, his brother Gerald "Jerry" Larson of Eau Claire, Wis. and Gloria Schafer of Winona, Minn.

He is preceded in death by his son Tim Larson.

Funeral Services for Michael will be held on Monday, April 1, at 2 p.m. at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from noon until the time of service.
