Born to Alfred and Ruth Lumberson Alexander, Clifford R. Alexander, passed away in Marion General Hospital on June 5, 2005. He was 71 years old.

Retired from B.F. Goodrich in 1982 after 30 years of service, he was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. A member of Trinity Baptist Church, Radar Pairs & Spares Sunday school class, Moose Lodge 889 and past member of Ridgedale Lions Club. He attended Harding High School.

He married the former Ivory Doll Ross on July 21, 1971. She survives him along with two sons and their wives; two grandchildren; two sisters, June Mitchell and Margaret Handy, both of Vermilion, Ohio; plus his mother-in-law, Barbara Jean Ross of Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Charlene Gilbert and Maxine Hubble.

Funeral in Boyd Funeral Home and burial in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
