She was born Oct. 13, 1929, a daughter of the late Haskel W. and Ethel L. Ramsey Bennett.
On May 3, 1950, at Belington, she was married to Lowell Thomas “Tom” Williams who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, David Lowell Williams of Scott Depot and Douglas Keith Williams and wife, Sandy, of Elkins; six grandchildren, Holly Cutright and husband, Scott, Amy White and husband, Timothy, and Emily Williams, all of Elkins, Kathryn “Kate” Williams of Huntington, Margaret “Maggie” Williams of Columbus, Ohio, and Amanda “Mandy” Williams of Given. Also surviving is one great-granddaughter, Hannah Cutright of Elkins.
Also preceding her in death were one brother, Ivan “Bud” Bennett; and one sister, Vieva Taylor.
Nina was a member of First United Methodist Church of Elkins and a past volunteer for Davis Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and Meals on Wheels. She was an avid bridge player.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Ellis E. Conley and the Rev. Dr. Basil A. Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in the Fraternal Cemetery near Belington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elkins-Randolph Public Library, 416 Davis Ave., Elkins, W.Va. 26241; Meals on Wheels, 450 Randolph Ave., Elkins, W.Va. 26241 or First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Ave., Elkins, W.Va. 26241 in memory of Mrs. Williams.
