Obituary of Edna Grace Wade:

Bedford – Edna (Grace) Wade, 97, of Bedford, died at 8:40 am on Friday, March 29, 2019 at White River Lodge with her family by her side.

Born May 4, 1921 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Sanford Grubb and Linnie (Henderson) Hunter. She married George Oliver Wade on February 7, 1942 and he preceded her in death on September 18, 1986.

She was a homemaker and had worked at RCA. She was a faithful and active member of Old Union Christian Church where she had taught Sunday School for many years.

Survivors include children, Trudy Siniard, Sanford (Sandy) Wade and wife, Kim, all of Williams, James Wade and wife, Teresa, Dwight Wade and wife, Sherry, all of Bedford, Gary Wade and wife, Beverly, of Williams; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, Chris, a son-in-law, four brothers, and one sister.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 31st at Old Union Cemetery with Mike Lewis officiating. Burial will follow. No calling hours are scheduled. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
