Melissa Suzanne Byrd, age 45, of Jacksboro passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019. She was a member of Jacksboro First Baptist Church. She loved to read, her dog Rascal, the outdoors and lake and was very creative and crafty. She had a Masters Degree from University of Tennessee and was a huge UT Vol fan. She also was former Librarian at Jacksboro Elementary School and Lincoln Memorial University.
Preceded in death by grandfather, E.L. Adkins; father, David Byrd; grandmother, Edna Lyons; step father, David Jones & great grandparents
