She was born Dec. 28, 1943, to Joseph and Loretta (Backhaus) Diedrich in Manitowoc County. She married Thomas Hoeft Sept. 7, 1963, in Askeaton. She was a school bus driver for Dworak Motors for about 15 years.
Survivors include her husband; mother and step-father, Loretta and Joseph Brooks of Hilbert; three daughters and one son, Richard and Christine (Hoeft) Kinjerski of Kewaunee, Bill and Sandra (Hoeft) Bosman of Algoma, Debra and Patrick, still at home; one granddaughter, Samantha Kinjerski; one brother, Russel and Ruth Diedrich of Chilton; and one sister, Barbara Lueloff of Chilton.
The funeral was held Monday, July 13, at St. John’s Church in Krok, with the Rev. John Johanck officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Gardens Cemetery. Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee, was in charge of arrangements.
