Mary (Moore) Garrett Moses, age 94, of Calvert City, KY passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Born Wednesday, August 6, 1924 in Smith Mills, KY, she was the daughter of the late Albert Moore and the late Myrtle (Buckman) Moore Girten.
Surviving are her son, Michael Garrett of Tigard, OR; daughters, Charlotte Phelps of Marion, KY, Joyce Givens of Murray, KY, Anita Pidcock of Calvert City, KY, Dana Christensen of Salem, OR; 20 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five infant brothers and sisters; her son, David Garrett; daughter, Wanda Blackburn; brothers, Julien "Jack" Moore, Dorris Moore; sisters, Lucille Gatewood, Margaret "Beanie" Garrett; half brothers, Tom Carr, Jerry Carr; 2 grandchildren and one great grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday March 30, 2019 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th. St. Benton, KY 42025 with Anthony Harper officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Collier Funeral Home located in Benton, KY 42025.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Rosebud Cemetery, Marion, KY with Bro. Gary Murray officiating.
