Janet Marie Noble, 66, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, was born May 18, 1952 and died on Friday, March 8, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Janet was born in Youngstown, Ohio to George and Catherine (Burns) Vodhanel and grew up in Newton Falls, Ohio. She moved to Oklahoma in 1970, where she was introduced to her husband James, and the couple was married July 24, 1971. She had three children, Matthew (Dena), Elizabeth (Dexter) and Michael (Brandy) and six grandchildren, Patrick, Jacob, Kalysta, Loree, Devin, and Fallon. Janet was preceded in death by her parents and brother Lawrence. She was survived by her brother, Daniel; her husband of 47 years, James; and all her children and grandchildren. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her family, following a brief illness. She was an enthusiastic gardener, had a love of the outdoors, and reveled in the peacefulness she found while living at her rural home. A rosary and wake was held from 7-8 PM on Wednesday, 13 March, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Guthrie. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, 14 March, also at St. Mary, with the Rev Father James Wickersham officiating. Interment followed at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Services were throudh Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
