Mr. Edward Ray Frazier, 88, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. The funeral service will be Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Hope officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will begin prior to the service at 10:00 at the funeral home.

Born in Sarah, MS to the late William Henry and Mary Lois Brewer Frazier, Mr. Frazier served as a Private in the United States Army and retired from US Plywood where he worked as a saw operator. A former heavy equipment operator, Mr. Frazier enjoyed vegetable gardening and was especially skilled at cross germinating plants. He was preceded in death by a son, Gregory R. Frazier.

Survivors include his wife, Bea Frazier of Abbeville, MS; a son, Donald C. Frazier and his wife, Marieta of Tyler, TX; daughter in law, Cindy Frazier of Abbeville, MS; a sister, Faye Gunner of Abbeville, MS; a brother, Melvin Frazier of Senatobia, MS; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Mr. Frazier’s memory may be made to Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund, c/o Rose Jones, 132 CR 215, Oxford, MS 38655.

In honor of Mr. Frazier’s service to his country, the flag of the United States Army will be flown at Waller Funeral Home.
