Mrs. Dollie Mae Stewart age 100 of Blairsville passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on Wednesday March 27, 2019. Mrs. Stewart was born on May 25, 1918 in Copperhill, TN., the daughter of the late Joe Scroggs and the late Gillie Hawkins Scroggs. Dollie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She loved gardening and listening to gospel music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil William Stewart in 1992, a daughter and son in law, Betty and Lawrence Carver, three sons, Dennis, Veron Joe and Edward Stewart.four brothers, Tommy, Clifford, Venson and Andrew Scroggs. Dollie was a member of Cedar Cliff Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Cedar Cliff Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery where she will rest next to her beloved husband Arvil.
