Ida Jean Mace, 84, of Marshall, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 26, 2019.
Ida was born May 12, 1934 to her late parents Ernest and Blanche Wilson Clark. She loved to sew, be out in the garden and spend time with family. She was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Robert and Byron Mace.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 64 years, G. D. Mace; daughter, Becky Carroll (Phillip); son, Eric Mace (Kim); grandchildren: Michael Dillon (Coleen), Angela Dillon, Daniel Mace and Devon Mace; great grandchildren: Nichole, Hailey, Isabelle, Danny, Emi, Aiden, Jamie, Gillian, Derek, Dillon and Arielle; great-great grandchildren, Amelia and Elias; sister, Verna Baldwin (Harry); and brother, John Mace (Lydia).
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Grapevine Baptist Church with Reverends Ken Parker and Danny Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in Clark cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 at the church on Saturday prior to the service.
