Cheryl Lynne Walker, 63, of Oceana, WV passed away on Wednesday March 27, 2019 at Logan Regional
Medical Center, Logan, WV. She was born on May 14, 1955 in Welch, WV a daughter of Helen Ovella
Blankenship Walker and the late Gene Walker. Cheryl is a member of the Scott Depot Christ Fellowship
Church. A graduate of Oceana High School, Marshall University and WV College of Graduate Studies. She
worked as a certified registered nurse anesthetist for several years at CAMC and Raleigh General. In
addition to her mother survivors include a son Nicholas Walker of Oceana; a brother Geary Walker of
Bedford, VA; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Saturday
March 30th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Pastor Stephen Walls
officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the
family from 12PM until time of services at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The
family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.
