Rites Observed for J. S. Bowlby
Final Services for Conesville Man Held at Grace Reformed Church.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Grace Reformed church for J. S. Bowlby who died early Saturday morning after a three day illness. The Rev. E. Jasmann was in charge of the service, Mr. Jasmann and Mr. Settlemire sang, "A Charge to Keep," and "The City Foursquare." Mr. and Mrs. Jasmann sang "He Knows It All." Six nieces were in charge of the flowers. Mrs. Irma Dooly, Mrs. McKinley Powell, Mrs. Russell Maxwell, Mrs. Guy Hontz, Mrs. George Dyche and Miss Lorena Maxwell.
Pallbearers were six nephews, Guy Honts, Frank Westlake, George Dyche, Russell Maxwell, Roy Maxwell and Forest Maxwell. Burial was in the Conesville cemetery.
