Billie M. Walker, 95, passed away, Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Billie was born November 9, 1923 to William Merton and Hester Barbara (Baker) Andrews in Coffeyville, Kansas. She attended and graduated from Labette County High School.

On November 20, 1943, she married Roderick L. Walker in Labett, KS. Following their marriage, they made their home in the Altamont area until moving to Valeda, KS where they lived 42 years, before moving to Coffeyville in 1996.

Billie held many jobs including Continental Can, Electra, H.W. Reads, Litwins, Walmart and Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville.

Billie is survived by her daughter, Barbara (David) Cook, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Wildcat of Lawrence, Kansas, Bertha (Don) Dean of Parsons, Kansas, Berniece Phillips, also of Parsons, Kansas, Bonnie (Bill) Hagan of St. Charles, Missouri and Bonita (Bob) Miller of Sedan, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Terry Walker and one sister, Betty Kimmons.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Altamont, Kansas.

Friends may call on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
