Funeral services for Mr. C. R. Mankin, 55, Shelbyville Rd., who died of a heart attack Nov. 27 at Rutherford Hospital, were held 3 p.m. Nov. 28, Jennings & Ayers Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. J. W. Jernigan officiated.
His parents were the late Rice and Ethel Reed Mankin.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie McCullough Mankin of Murfreesboro; a son, Calvin Mankin of Nashville; two daughters, Yvonne Clinton of Murfreesboro, Vivian Mankin of Murfreesboro; a half-brother, Owen Welchance of Knoxville; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Todd and Mrs. Lavenia Holt, both of Murfreesboro.
Mr. Mankin was a life long resident of Rutherford County.
