Funeral services were at 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 13 at Hall Funeral home, Stamford, with the Rev. William R. Phinney, pastor of the Stamford United Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Stamford cemetery at a later date.
He was born Aug. I, 1908 at Kingston, son of Jesse and Helen (Pruden) Raup. He was a resident of Fast Orange, N.J. most of his life. He had lived in Grand Gorge the past year and a half. He worked in the dye processing -department of the Geigie Chemical Company, West Chester, and he was a member of the Bayview Wheelman’s Club, Newark, N.J.
He is survived by one stepsister, Mrs. Lurline Youngberg of Elizabeth. N.J.; 2 cousins, Mrs. Francis (Boris) Hinkley of Koxbury and William F. Pruden of Stamford; and various aunts and uncles and cousins.
