Phillip Meridith “Joe” Price, 82 of Marmet passed away March 26, 2019 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 26, 1936 in Charleston and attended local schools. He remained in Marmet throughout his life. He was a member of Reynolds Memorial United Methodist Church, Marmet and often played piano for services. Phillip loved all sports, especially the WV Mountaineers and Marshall University. He was especially proud of being named citizen of the year twice.

He was preceded in death by Parents: Bernard M. and Thelma Turner Price and
Nephew: Marc Christopher Fontalbert.

Surviving Are:

Brother: Paul Turner (Roselie) Price of Charleston,

Sister: Jane (Terry) Price Fontalbert of Marmet,

Nephews: David (Debbie) Fontalbert,
Andrew (Cindy) Fontalbert,

Niece: Lisa McNeely,

Great Nieces: Emily Fontalbert, Megan (Roger) Roe,

Great Nephews: Austin McNeely, James (Kala) Fontalbert and

Great Great Nephew: Bentley Roe.

The family would like to extend a very sincere thank you to the nurses and doctors at CAMC Memorial ICU for all their efforts in Phillip’s behalf.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday March 29, 2019 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Darick Biondi officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
