Mrs. Bennett was the former Ethel Craddock, and was a native of Hart County, Ky. Her husband died in 1958.
She was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Brown; three sons, L. Chester Bennett, Georgetown, Ind., John I. Bennett Jr., Logansport, Ind., and Dr. D. C. Bennett, Owensboro, Ky.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Owen Suburban Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
