J.L., age 100, passed away at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center after a brief hospitalization. She was the daughter of Fountain and Nellie Armstrong. She graduated from Midland High School in 1934. She married Barton Hunt on February 6, 1943, in Midland. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Lynn Mayfield, and her brother, Fount T. Armstrong. Survivors include her daughters, Betty Gossard, Gail Misch, and Lee Ann Martin, 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service was held.
