Floyd Merrill Russell, 87, of Rossville, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019. He had lived in the Chattanooga & North Georgia areas for most of his life and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Russell served in the National Guard and was the Owner & CEO of FM Russell Company for many years. He was a member of the Optimist Club, a member of the Associated General Contractors and belonged to the Mountain City Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Grace Russell; son, Curtis Russell; brothers, Donnie, Paul, Haskew and Charles Russell; sister, Yvonne Mathis and daughter-in-law, Kathy Russell.
Survivors include his loving wife of more than 66 years, Juanita McBryar Russell; son & daughter-in-law, Kent & Cynthia Russell; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and numerous extended family & friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019 in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens with Bro. Gary Shoemaker and Bro. Michael Nicholson officiating.
