Arthur Lee Neal, Grand Rapids Arthur Lee Neal, age 90, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, went home to be with his heavenly father on Friday, March 8th, 2019. He was born to Rev. John Neal and Beulah Neal of Arkadelphia, AK on November 28, 1928. Arthur proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was an employee of Blackmer Pump for 21 years. "Granddad" will be remembered fondly for his sense of humor, wit, and his love of laughter. Even as he progressed in age, he stayed abreast of politics and political issues, which he absolutely loved to debate. He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. John Butler and Beulah Bell Neal, his wife Rosie L. Neal, siblings: Edward Neal, Gracie Buckley, Marion Neal, Gladys Neal, John Morris Neal, Charles Neal, and David Neal. He leaves behind his 4 children, 2 step-children, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren: 3 siblings, including his twin sister and sister-in-law, a lovable companion, a special nephew and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
