Sharon Ann Waldon, infant daughter of Oscar Donald Waldon and Betty Jean Waldon, born May 7, 1943, passed away May 13, 1943 in Culver Hospital. Also surviving are a Grandmother, Mrs. May Gill and Grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Ruben Waldon. The body was taken to the Proffitt and Sons Funeral Home, pending arrangements for the services. This is according to a clipping from the Crawfordsville paper. Oscar Donald received news of his daughter's passing, while serving in the Army overseas in Okinawa, Japan during World War II. He was issued emergency furlow and came home to make arrangements for his daughter. Her death certificate states that she passed away May 9, 1943 from Iniation. Her interment, Oakhill Cemetery in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
