DuWayne Willis Oestreich, 76, of Tebbetts, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019, at his residence.

He was born March 19, 1943, in Waconia, Minnesota, the son of the late Sylvester and Alice (Plocher) Oestreich.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

He was united in marriage on November 24, 1981, in Waynesville, Missouri to Frances Naomi Bailey who preceded him in death on December 1, 2004.

DuWayne worked for the Missouri State Penitentiary as a cook and supervisor retiring in 1992. Following retirement he owned and operated his own lawn care business.

He was a life member of the Laquay, Missouri Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his granddaughter, Saber Ellebracht (Clinton Levy), of Tebbets, and her children, Avery Ellebracht and Uriah Ellebracht.

Graveside service with military honors will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Big Rock Cemetery in Barnett, Missouri.

Memorials are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans.
