Ms. Blanche Louise Robinson, affectionately known as “Nancy”, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 24, 2019. She began her life in Prince George, VA. born to the late Nannie and John Diggs on January 11, 1939.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nannie Diggs; father, John Diggs, Sr; two sisters, Rose Diggs Turnquist and Queen Binyard; three brothers, George Diggs, Charles Diggs and John Diggs, Jr.; and son John Robinson.
Blanche is survived by her sister, Annie “Mable” Smith; children, Joyce Robinson, Nannie “Evelyn” Young and Troy Robinson all of Aberdeen, MD, Inez Diggs (George) of Jeffersonville, IN, and Shelia Ward of Petersburg, VA. She also leaves to cherish her beautiful memory: a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Service will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 1, 2019 in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA. Elder Felecia C. Fisher, eulogist. The interment to follow at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.
