O.D. EVANS, 70, of Memphis, died of heart failure Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. M.J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Piperton. She leaves two daughters, Bettie Parson and Lillian Joyner; a son, Lester Walls and two sisters, Alberta Smith and Jessie Henderson, all of Memphis; three brothers, Jessie Walls Jr. and Bennie Walls, both of Memphis, and McKinley Walls of Muskegon, Mich., 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
