Age 80. Born July 17, 1938 in Sparta, WI. Peacefully entered eternal life at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Sally J. Cole (nee Neitzel), 5 children Jerry W. Cole, Jr. (Maryann), Leigh Anne Spears (Dean), Julie Dlouhy, Susan Biloff (Jim), and Scott Cole (Kari). Devoted Papa to 11 Grandchildren - Aaron, Lyndsey, Devan, Dustin, Lucas, Alex, Emily, Alyssa, Kayleigh, Samuel, and Lilian. Further survived by his sister, Janet Cole of Sparta, WI, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Jerry retired from Nordberg/Rexnord in 1999. He proudly served 25 years in the military - 6 years in the Army, 19 years in the Air Force Reserves.
The family extends their gratitude to Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, specifically the Lac La Belle Team. A very heartfelt thank you to Dr. Bullis, Jay-NP, Melissa-SW, and Michelle-RN for their phenomenal care and support of our entire family over the last 6 months.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 9 to 11 AM., at Whitnall Park Lutheran Church, 5847 S. Lilac Lane, Hales Corners. Service at 11 AM. Interment at Good Hope Cemetery following the service.
