Wayne Richard Lee died peacefully in his home on Friday, April 27, 2018. He was born on July 19, 1941 in Denver, Colorado to Edwin and Hattie Lee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Helen (Santangelo) whom he married on February 8, 1964, his siblings, Robert (Evelyn), Donald (Doris), Earl and Virginia.
He is survived by his daughter, Dena (Mark) Pizzimenti and his grandchildren, Maximus, Leonato and Leila as well as his sister, Verna Monaco (George, dec.) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne fulfilled his dream of owning his own restaurant in the late seventies and eighties, which he considered the highlight of his career.
He will be remembered for the love and devotion he always had for his family, his immeasurable love of golf and his especially cheerful and positive personality.
Viewing 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM., followed by Scripture Services 11:00 AM., both Saturday May 5th, at the Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary. Entombment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
